The Chinese Lunar Fan-Shaped Silver Coin Series is minted from .999 fine Silver [Ag], with each coin weighing exactly 1 troy ounce [31.1g]. Each Fan-Shaped Coin is designed along a 30-degree arc, so that when all 12 coins are combined, they form a complete circle. The annual mintage limit for the series is currently set at 66,000, though it is thought that the actual mintages might be lower for some of the earlier years.
